Studying In Australia Vs Germany. Which Is Better?

1. Studies

In Australia, the assignments, quizzes, tasks etc starts after the second week of the semester, whereas in Germany as told before you only have to give exams at the end of the semester. In Australia, assignments and tasks also add up as marks and have a contribution to your final marks. So, you have to study hard throughout your semester but in Germany, you don't.

2. Cost Of Living And Study

Dollars

Cost of living is another factor which will affect your decision in choosing the country. Also, the cost of study in Australia is around 30k Dollars per Year, whereas as you know most of the public German universities are free. So this is a very big plus point.
Now if we consider the cost of living in Australia vs Germany, in Australia it will be around 2k to 3k Dollars, In Germany, it will cost you around 700 euros to 900 euros. I will say that it totally depends upon the individual that what kind of lifestyle he has.

3. Part-Time Jobs

It is a very important topic for most of the individuals because obviously, everyone wants to financially support himself and doesn't want to give more load to his parents.
In Australia, you have 3 options to work,
  1. Cash in Hand: Here employer will give you money in hand. So you don't have to worry about the taxes.
  2. You can opt for tax file number, you have to pay taxes in advance for the full year.
  3. You can opt for Australian business number, you can work as a freelancer, you have to pay your taxes at the end of the year.
In Germany and Australia, both the countries it is very easy to find part-time jobs. The only drawback in Germany is that it will be difficult for you if you don't know the German language.

The minimum wage in Australia is around 17 Dollars per Hour, whereas in Germany it is 8.85 euros per hour. So in both countries, it is good.

4. Living Environment

The weather is changing every time in Australia but mostly it will be sunny. Whereas in Germany, you will find most of the time its raining or cold.

People in Germany do not open up that easily, they are a little bit cold from nature. But in Australia, people open up with you no matter what background you come from. I am not saying that you can't make German friends but yeah its little bit difficult.

So these were my views on Studying in Australia vs Germany. From my point of view, Both the countries are good, Germany has a bit more advantage.

A new streamlined visa process for Indian visitors to New Zealand

Tourism New Zealand and Immigration New Zealand have launched an extension of the Tourism Industry Partnership (TIP) Programme to facilitate faster processing of visitor visa applications for Indian leisure travellers. Riding on the success of the previous partnership between Immigration New Zealand (INZ), Tourism New Zealand (TNZ) and key travel agents, the Tourism Industry Partnership (TIP) Programme has now been extended to leisure agents. The previous programme was launched in November 2014 and focused on the business and incentive travel sector. It resulted in growth of incentive group trips worth NZ $ 22m in 4 years (FY14-FY17) with a 99 per cent approval rate. With this new arrangement announced today, Indian leisure travelers will benefit from a more streamlined visa service, with a faster processing time of three days, compared to the previous online application processing time of 15 days.
